Overview
Dean: Prof. Mohsen Abou Seda, Ph.D.
Egyptian higher education has always realized the importance of foreign languages. Foreign languages, however, have become more pivotal in recent years, particularly in the Third World countries with the recent technological developments in communication, which have practically turned our world into a global village. Geographic boundaries are no longer barriers to the transfer of knowledge. Transfer of knowledge and technology has become a means of survival.
In their full understanding of the urgency of the need for graduates competent in foreign languages and translation, the founders of MUST established, from the Universityís inception, a B.A. program offered by the College of Foreign Languages and Translation.

To obtain a BA degree in foreign languages and translation, a student must complete 150 credit hours, covering university requirements, language skills, and all kinds of written and spontaneous translation from and into Arabic. At this stage, however, the university offers English- Arabic program. Other foreign languages programs, it is planned, will be added as the need arises.

A total of 150 credit hours is needed for graduation.
